Mourinho names 1 Real Madrid star he wants to sign this summer and it is not Ronaldo

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a summer move for Colombia winger James Rodriquez who currently plays for Bayern Munich.

But the report stated that Spanish club Real Madrid are standing on his way as they want Rodriquez to return to Spain at the end of next season.

James Rodriquez was allowed to leave Real Madrid when Frenchman Zinedine Zidane arrived at the Bernabeu, but he has since rediscovered his form in Germany.

However, his future beyond this season remains up in the air even though the Colombian’s deal with Bayern runs until 2019.

But after been knocked out of the 2017/18 Champions League by Sevilla, Don Balon claims that Jose Mourinho has named James Rodriquez as one of the players he wants next season.

The report also stated that Manchester United have already made contact with Rodriguez’s entourage over a transfer.

But the Red Devils will have to convince Real Madrid chiefs with mega deal for them to sell the 26-year-old this summer.
